– Windsor Chair?

What started as a silly prototype, with several staples pinned to a piece of pine, gained a logic of it own during the lenghty development process. Peacock Setee, is a Windsor at heart, but one that trades the traditional "comb" for nine individual bent pieces, that act as the comb, and the spindles at the same time. The bends brace against each other under load, acting as a woven structure, allowing the back to be very flexible, but sturdy - as a true windsor is supposed to be. Peacock Setee pays homeage to Hans Wegner's Peacock Chair, and the iconic Thonet Cafe Chair, but ultimately is a unique beast onto itself.
